Kim Sung-cheol in talks for drama starring Choi Woo-shik, Kim Da-mi

Actor Kim Sung-cheol might appear in a new drama soon!

Kim’s agency Story J Company announced that he was offered a role in Studio N’s upcoming drama That Year We and is reviewing the script.

That Year We is a romance drama about two high school lovers whose relationship did not end well. After a documentary they filmed in school suddenly becomes popular, they are forced to meet again as adults. Choi Woo-shik of the Oscar-winning film Parasite and Kim Da-mi of last year’s hit Itaewon Class (2020) fame have already been confirmed for the show. The two actors will be reuniting after starring together in the film The Witch: Part 1. The Subversion (2018).

Details of the role offered to Kim Sung-cheol have been kept under wraps. The young actor debuted in 2014 as a musical actor before moving on to dramas with roles in Prison Playbook (2017–2018), Arthdal Chronicles (2019), Sweet Home (2020), and most recently, in Vincenzo (2021).

That Year We is the first original drama by Studio N, a subsidiary of Naver Webtoon. It is expected to begin filming in the second half of the year.
