Kim Jae-wook and f(x)’s Krystal (Jung Soo-jung) are being courted for a potential pair-up for an upcoming drama!
On July 27, an official from Management SOOP, Kim’s agency, said, “Kim Jae-wook has received an offer to appear in the drama Crazy Love and is positively reviewing it. He has been offered the role of Noh Go-jin, a lecturer.”
Meanwhile, a source from Krystal’s agency H& Entertainment also said, “Krystal Jung has received an offer to play the role of Lee Ji-young, Noh Go-jin’s secretary, and [she] is considering to appear in the drama Crazy Love.”
Crazy Love will follow the story of a man pretending to have amnesia to escape death and a woman pretending to be his fiancee after finding out she has only a little time left to live.
Kim is being wooed to play Noh Go-jin, a company CEO and the best math instructor in Korea. If he accepts, this will mark Kim’s small-screen comeback after two years, following his 2019 drama Her Private Life.
Meanwhile, Krystal is the potential actor for the role of Lee Ji-young, Go-jin’s secretary who is so quiet and introverted, her presence cannot be felt by those around her. She is one of the company’s top employees. Krystal last starred in the 2020 horror thriller Search. She is currently a part of the cast of the upcoming drama Police University, which is set to premiere next month.
Crazy Love aims to premiere in the second half of the year.
