Kang Ki-young signs exclusive contract with same agency managing Lee Joon-gi, Park Min-young

K-dramaland’s favorite supporting actor Kang Ki-young has signed an exclusive contract with the talent management company Namoo Actors.

On November 9, the news was officially announced by Namoo Actors in a statement that read, “We are happy to be with actor Kang Ki-young.” On the amount of care Kang’s fans can expect from the agency, they said, “We will not fail in giving our full support so that he can receive continuous love from the public and have a stable [flow of] work activities.”

Kang Ki-young is best known for his unmatched comic timing and acting in several hit dramas including Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo (2016–2017), Tunnel (2017), While You Were Sleeping (2017), What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim (2018), and My Secret Terrius (2018). He was last seen in JTBC’s youth series At Eighteen (2019). In addition, Kang has also been making his presence felt in the film industry. He is slated to appear in Shin Min-ah’s fantasy movie Vacation and in the action film Bargaining, which will be headlined by Hyun Bin (Rampant) and Hwang Jung-min (The Spy Gone North).

Namoo Actors is an actor-focused entertainment company and represents an impressive lineup of artists, including Lee Joon-gi (Flower of Evil), Ji Sung (Doctor John), Moon Chae-won (Flower of Evil), Park Eun-bin (Do You Like Brahms?), Park Min-young (When the Weather Is Fine), Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun (Private Lives), and Shin Se-kyung (Rookie Historian Goo Hae-ryung), among others.
