Jo Han-chul cast in upcoming tvN drama led by Song Joong-ki

Actor Jo Han-chul has been roped in to play a supporting role in the upcoming tvN drama Vincenzo, starring Song Joong-ki, Ok Taec-yeon, and Jeon Yeo-bin.

Vincenzo is a crime drama revolving around the titular character to be played by Song Joong-ki (Arthdal Chronicles). A young Korean boy gets adopted and brought to Italy, where he grows up to become a lawyer called Vincenzo. He works for the mafia, but when a war breaks out between mafia groups, he is forced to flee Italy for South Korea with a mission to tear down the bad guys and strive for social justice.

In Korea, Vincenzo meets a ruthless lawyer by the name of Hong Cha-young, to be played by Jeon Yeo-bin (Be Melodramatic). There is nothing Hong Cha-young cannot do to win a case. Vincenzo falls for her and also ends up meeting Jang Jun-woo, who will be played by Ok Taec-yeon (The Game: Towards Zero). Jang Jun-woo is a clumsy but sincere law intern who often makes mistakes at work.

Jo Han-chul has been cast for the role of Han Seung-hyuk, the CEO of South Korea’s top law firm that has the best specs in the business.

Jo has already appeared in several dramas just this year, from Kkondae Intern and Kingdom Season 2 to Nobody Knows and Memorist.

Vincenzo will be directed by Kim Hee-won of The Crowned Clown (2019) fame. The drama’s script has been penned by Park Jae-bum, who wrote Good Manager (2017) and The Fiery Priest (2019). It is planned by Studio Dragon and is scheduled to broadcast in the first half of 2021.
