Ji Sung turns away from order of law in main poster for ‘The Devil Judge’

tvN’s upcoming legal drama The Devil Judge has released its main poster featuring lead star Ji Sung.

The Devil Judge centers on the court-trials-turned-reality-shows conducted by a “devil judge” who punishes criminals in front of a live audience. Ji Sung (Doctor John), who takes on the titular character, stars alongside Kim Min-jung (My Fellow Citizens), GOT7’s Jinyoung (When My Love Blooms), and Park Gyu-young (Sweet Home).

The main poster shows Ji Sung standing with a hammer in his left hand. In the background is Dike, the goddess of justice and the symbol of law. Dike is holding a scale in one hand and a sword on the other, with her eyes covered with a blindfold.

The Devil Judge main poster

Ji Sung as the devil judge Yo-han has his head turned away from her image, symbolizing how he ignores the legal order of justice. In addition, the display where Dike appears is broken, possibly caused by Yo-han’s hammer, indicating that Ji Sung’s character has something against the law.

The Devil Judge will air on July 3.

Luna

It was Princess Lulu who first introduced her to Korean dramas but it was Yoon Ji-hoo from Boys Over Flowers who enticed her to stay in K-dramaland. She writes news and features for Kdramapal, which combines two of her most favorite things in the world—writing and K-dramas (look who's living the dream). The name Luna literally translates to "moon" and nothing special; she just likes writing at night.
