Ji Chang-wook offered lead role in “Beware this Woman”; Lee Sung-kyung still considering

Beware this Woman is currently courting Ji Chang-wook (The K2) to play its male lead character. The upcoming SBS series, which earlier offered Lee Sung-kyung (Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo) the female lead role, is going to be a mix of romantic comedy, thriller, and legal drama.

Ji Chang-wook is being offered the role of Noh Ji-woook, a prosecutor in the Central District Prosecutor’s Office who becomes a private attorney unexpectedly. He is gifted with many talents, whether it is music, athletics, or writing but lives with a trauma caused by an event during his childhood years involving his parents and first love. His life changes when he meets the female lead character, Eun Bong-hee, whose role has been offered to Lee Sung-kyung about three weeks ago. She is a prosecutor trainee who was a Taekwondo player in her youth.

The two actors have yet to confirm whether or not they will take the project.

Beware This Woman is written by I Remember You writer Kwon Ki-young. The thriller component of the drama involves an amnesiac killer who wants to kill the two main characters. It is scheduled to follow Saimdang, Light’s Diary in May 2017.

Me? Just an ordinary lad with an extraordinary (says this something called 'stereotype') habit of watching Korean dramas. It started with action-filled City Hunter and the rest, as they say, is history.
