Japanese actress Erika Karata to appear in ‘Arthdal Chronicles’ Part 3

Japanese actress Erika Karata will appear in Arthdal Chronicles Part 3, an official from tvN revealed on June 21.

However, the source did not spill the details about her role, saying, “Please check it through the broadcast. Karata Erika will appear in Part 3.”

Starring Song Joong-ki, Jang Dong-gun, Kim Jin-won, and Kim Ok-bin, Arthdal Chronicles is an ancient historical drama about mythical figures in a land called Arth. The series has three parts made up of six episodes each. Part 1, which is titled the “Children of Prophecy,” aired from June 1 to 16, 2019, while Part 2 (“The Sky Turning Inside Out, Rising Land”) will be broadcast from June 22 to July 7.

The third and last part, “Arth: The Prelude To All Legends,” in which Erika Karata will appear, is scheduled to premiere on September 7 following the conclusion of Hotel del Luna.

Erika Karata made her acting debut in Japan in 2015 through the Fuji TV drama “I Love You.” She has then attracted more attention from the audience and became popular by appearing in more TV series such as “Voice Love,” “Bizarre Story,” and “Blanket Cat.”

The 21-year-old actress and model captured the attention of South Korean fans after appearing in SNSD’s (Girls’ Generation) “Divine” music video in 2014. She also signed an exclusive contract in 2017 with BH Entertainment, the agency which handles many popular Korean stars including Lee Byung-hun (Mr. Sunshine), Han Ji-min (One Spring Night), Han Hyo-joo, and Kim Go-eun (The King: The Eternal Monarch).
