Jang Young-nam joins cast of Ji Sung starrer ‘The Devil’s Justice’

Jang Young-nam will star in the upcoming tvN series The Devil’s Justice. Her agency ANDMARQ confirmed the casting on February 17.

The Devil’s Justice will center of Kang Yo-han (Ji Sung, Doctor John), a court trial arbitrator with an immensely sophisticated taste in everything. Despite his aristocratic appearance, he is an unpredictable man dubbed as the “devil judge” for transforming the courtroom into a reality show to achieve justice. Joining Yo-han in the cast of characters are Jung Seon-ah (Kim Min-jung, My Fellow Citizens), a well-connected executive director and Yo-han’s rival; Kim Ga-on (Park Jin-young, When My Love Blooms), an associate trial judge trying to unmask Yo-han; and Yoon Soo-hyun (Park Gyu-young, Sweet Home), Ga-on’s childhood friend and a skilled detective who will cross paths with Yo-han.

Jang has been roped in to breathe life into Justice Minister Cha Kyung-hee, an extremely ambitious elite prosecutor whose end goal is to work at the Blue House. Kyung-hee is known for her ability to carry out orders from powerful people without fail.

Jang Young-nam, who first stepped into the entertainment industry as a theater actress, has been keeping active film and television acting slates. Most recently, the actress impressed viewers with her portrayal of a head nurse with a dark secret in the popular tvN series It’s Okay To Not Be Okay (2020).

The Devil’s Justice, also known as Devil Judge, is slated for broadcast during the second half of the year.
