Jang Na-ra and CNBLUE’s Jung Yong-hwa have been confirmed as the lead stars of Daebak Real Estate, KBS2’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama. According to reports, the casting news was announced by the network on January 12.
Daebak Real Estate will tell the story of real estate agents who “cleanse” properties by ridding them of ghosts and evil entities. Jang Na-ra, who last graced the small screen in the 2020 romantic-comedy series Oh My Baby, has been roped in to transform into Hong Ji-ah, a short-fused yet charismatic real estate agent who heads the agency Daebak Real Estate. However, behind Ji-ah’s intelligent and good looking facade is a skilled exorcist who inherited her abilities from her mother.
Joining Jang is fellow singer-actor Jung Yong-hwa, who will be making his comeback since his last television appearance in the 2017 drama The Package. Jung will suit up as Oh In-beom, a ghost-disbelieving con artist who uses exorcism to extort money from people. Despite his chosen style of working, In-beom is a quick-thinker with excellent logic and observational skills.
The production team behind the drama shared, “Daebak Real Estate is a one-of-a-kind drama [about exorcism] that will reflect people’s diverse desires and the conflicts that arise [when they fight over properties]. During the first half of this year, please look forward to the drama that will take your stress away.”
Daebak Real Estate, also known as Great Real Estate, will be spearheaded by School 2017 PD Park Jin-suk and writers Ha Soo-jin, Lee Young-hwa, and Jung Yeon-seo.
