Jang Ki-yong, Jin Se-yeon meet on a snowy day in first teaser for ‘Born Again’

KBS2’s upcoming drama Born Again has revealed its first teaser featuring lead actors Jang Ki-yong, Jin Se-yeon, and Lee Soo-hyuk.

Born Again is a thrilling melodrama set in two different timelines. It tells the story of three people whose fates keep intertwining in the worst ways even after their reincarnation. The three lead actors play different characters in the past and present—Jang Ki-yong is a long-haired loner in the past and a medical student in the present; Jin Se-yeon is a chronically-ill bookstore owner and later, a bone archaeologist; and Lee Soo-hyuk is a detective and a prosecutor.

The 30-second teaser opens in the 1980s timeline. A long-haired man makes his way atop a snow-clad hill to reach a smiling Jin Se-yeon who turns to look at him. The scene then shifts to the present timeline, with Jang Ki-yong staring at the snow as if it reminds him of something. Lee Soo-hyuk makes a quick appearance and the teaser ends with Jang Ki-yong and Jin Se-yeon meeting on top of the hill.

In addition, KBS2 released new still images of the three actors. The previous stills had given viewers a glimpse of how the three leads look in the past timeline. This time, the stills feature them in a modern-day setting, with Jang Ki-yong sitting in a library and catching the falling snow in his palm and Jin Se-yeon standing outside a book store, also looking delighted at the snow.

Born Again is helmed by director Jin Hyung-wook of Liver or Die. It is set to premiere on April 20 as one of the six new Korean dramas next month.
