Jang Ki-yong is in talks to play the gumiho Shin Woo-yeo, a nine-tailed fox who has been living for 900 years and has since taken on a human form. His most recent work is the fantasy romance drama Born Again (2020) where he starred alongside Jin Se-yeon and Lee Soo-hyuk.

“Frightening Cohabitation” is authored by a writer who goes by the pen name “I.” It is serialized in Naver as a Thursday webtoon and is currently on episode 149. Every episode consistently receives high ratings from its wide reader base, with the latest one ranking 6th on the popularity board.

The drama adaptation is to be spearheaded by director Baek Seung-ryong, who also previously worked on the transformation of the webcomic “Ssabnida Cheonrimamateu” to the 2019 series Pegasus Market. It is in discussion for a premiere via tvN in the second half of the year.
