IU to lend her voice to OST of ‘Crash Landing On You’

Singer and actress IU is set to release her first drama OST in nine years! She will be lending her voice to a song for Son Ye-jin and Hyun Bin’s ongoing series Crash Landing On You.

On February 3, a source from the drama confirmed that IU (Hotel del Luna) had recorded an OST, but the release details are yet to be finalized.

The last time IU participated in a drama OST was for MBC’s 2011 rom-com The Greatest Love. She released a song called ‘Hold My Hand’. Since then, some of her songs have been played in dramas but none has been included in the official OST album.

IU agreed to record a song for the drama because of her connection with Crash Landing On You screenwriter Park Ji-eun, who penned the 2015 drama Producers starring IU and Kim Soo-hyun.

Meanwhile, IU is preparing for her feature film debut opposite Park Seo-joon.
