Hyun Bin, writer Park Ji-eun of ‘My Love From The Star’ in talks to collaborate

It looks like a collaboration between top actor Hyun Bin and sought-after screenwriter Park Ji-eun is going to happen!

According to industry sources on March 8, Hyun Bin has been scheduled to meet with writer Park Ji-eun to work together on an interesting project. Park Ji-eun is known for creating Korean drama hits including My Love From The Star, The Producers, and The Legend of the Blue Sea. The writer had collaborated with a lot of top Korean actors including Kim Soo-hyun, Jun Ji-hyun, Kim Nam-joo, and Lee Min-ho.

Park Ji-eun is known for establishing great relationships with the lead actors of her dramas. She has worked with both Kim Soo-hyun and Jun Ji-hyun in My Love From The Star (2013-2014) and got reunited with Kim in The Producers (2015) and Jun in The Legend of the Blue Sea (2016-2017)Meanwhile, Hyun Bin is an award-winning actor who is best known for his roles in My Name Is Kam Sam-soon and Secret Garden. According to a source close to writer Park Ji-eun, “There are no details to share yet, but it is true that we communicated with Hyun Bin to ask for his schedule.” VAST Entertainment, Hyun Bin’s agency, confirmed that they have indeed talked with representatives of Park Ji-eun. However, both sides have yet to agree on when to meet to discuss things in detail.

It has been reported that writer Park is working on a drama that will be aired later this year. For now, the title, genre, and storyline of the project are still kept confidential. But it is highly likely that she is considering Hyun Bin for the lead role.
