Hyun Bin, Son Ye-jin in talks to star in new drama from ‘My Love From The Star’ writer

Top actors Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin have been courted to star in an upcoming tvN drama from screenwriter Park Ji-eun, who is best known for penning hit series like My Love From The Stars, The Producers, and The Legend of the Blue Sea.

tvN confirmed on April 3 that both actors have received an offer to headline the drama written by Park, whose working title and synopsis are still kept under wraps. The network clarified as well that they are still planning to add the said project to its drama lineup in the second half of the year and mentioned that PD Lee Jung-hyo of Romance Is A Bonus Book will direct the upcoming series.

Last month, it was reported that Park Ji-eun contacted Hyun Bin to ask for his schedule. During that time, his agency, VAST Entertainment, clarified that the two have expressed their interest to talk about the project, but have not yet set up a formal meeting for the offer.

Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin have previously worked together in the 2018 film The Negotiation. Hyun was last seen in the science fiction drama Memories of the Alhambra while Son Ye-jin recently appeared in Something In The Rain.

In January, the two actors became the subject of dating rumors that were denied by their respective agencies.
