Han Suk-kyu in talks to headline new drama from ‘CLOY’ director

JTBC is courting multi-awarded actor Han Suk-kyu for the lead role in its upcoming drama Until the Morning Comes (literal title).

Han Suk-kyu’s agency, Clover Company, announced on November 17, “Han Suk-yu is considering to appear in Until the Morning Comes.”

The 56-year-old star most recently appeared in Dr. Romantic 2 (2020) and Watcher (2019). The Baeksang-nominated actor won the grand prize at the SBS Drama Awards in 2011 and 2016 for his performance in Tree With Deep Roots and Dr. Romantic, respectively.

Until the Morning Comes is said to be a drama about a forensic scientist who becomes a murder suspect overnight, although the script is currently undergoing major revisions. It will be helmed by Lee Jung-hyo, the director of Romance is a Bonus Book (2019) and Crash Landing on You (2019-2020).
