Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung to star in Netflix’s ‘Move to Heaven’

Girls’ Generation member and So I Married an Anti-fan (2021) star Sooyoung will appear in Netflix’s upcoming original drama Move to Heaven.

On April 30, an official from Sooyoung’s agency Saram Entertainment revealed to the media, “Choi Soo-young [Sooyoung] will appear as Son Yoo-rim in the drama Move to Heaven.”

Move to Heaven centers on a trauma cleaning business and its cleaners. It stars Lee Je-hoon (Taxi Driver) as Cho Sang-gu, an ex-convict who becomes his nephew’s guardian and begins working at his late brother’s trauma cleaning business, and Tang Jun-sang (Crash Landing on You) as Han Geu-ru, Sang-gu’s nephew who has Asperger’s syndrome. Together, they take care of the items left behind by the deceased, and in the process, experience various emotions and sentiments brought by the untold stories of the dead that they uncover.

With the addition of Sooyoung’s to the cast, fans and viewers are showing anticipation on what role she will play and how her character will affect the course of the story.

Move to Heaven will premiere exclusively on Netflix worldwide this coming May 14.
