First poster out for medical drama ‘Hospital Ship’

MBC’s upcoming Hospital Ship released on August 18 its first promotional poster featuring the four main characters played by Han Ji-won, Kang Min-hyuk, Lee Seo-won, and Kim In-shik. The four characters are wearing their respective doctor’s gown and are seen standing on the deck of the ‘hospital ship’ while looking at the sea.

Hospital Ship is a human drama about young medical doctors aboard a ship that brings them to remote locations where their medical assistance is needed. CNBLUE’s Kang Min-hyuk (Entertainer) is playing a warm-hearted doctor, Kwak Hyun, who volunteers for the hospital ship. In contrast, Han Ji-won (The Time We Were Not In Love) is taking on the role of Song Eun-jae, a surgeon forced to join the team in the ship to avert public scrutiny after her family is ruined. Lee Seo-won (The Liar and His Lover) and Kim In-shik (Monster), meanwhile, are portraying an oriental medicine doctor and a dentist, respectively. These four characters will board the ship for different reasons and will go on a journey that will foster their individual growth as doctors.

More posters and teasers can be expected to be unveiled in the coming days as the drama nears its premiere date.

The directing and screenplay of Hospital Ship is handled by A New Leaf  PD Park Jae-Bum and Hwang Jin Yi screenwriter Yoon Seon-joo. The drama will be broadcast every Wednesdays and Thursdays beginning August 30, a week after Man Who Dies To Live ends its run.
