First look at Kim Min-jae, Park Eun-bin’s undeniable connection unveiled in new teaser for ‘Do You Like Brahms?’

SBS’s Do You Like Brahms? has released a sneak peek of Kim Min-jae and Park Eun-bin’s transformation into instrumentalists in the first teaser for the upcoming musical youth series.

Do You Like Brahms? features the individual journeys of budding musicians in a prestigious music school. It centers on the protagonists Chae Song-ah (Park Eun-bin, Stove League), a college second-courser majoring in violin performance, and Park Joon-young (Kim Min-jae, Dr. Romantic 2), a world-famous pianist who started his career as a six-year-old musical genius. Their paths intertwine one fateful summer, and from then on, their hearts begin hearing the same melody.

The freshly dropped 38-second teaser for the drama opens to the beautiful sound of the piano as Joon-young skillfully plays Robert Schumann’s classical piece “Träumerei.” The focus then shifts to the door where Song-ah quietly watches the captivating performance unfold as if witnessing a scene that is bound to have such great influence in her life. Her voice takes over the background, saying, “I knew that day, because of this person who speaks to me through music,” Then, as the two finally come face to face with each other, exchange shy smiles, and share an instant connection, Song-ah continues, “I would continue to love even if I was hurt again and again. That day, I knew.” The video closes with her and Joon-young walking away side by side under the dark night.

Do You Like Brahms? is spearheaded by the director-screenwriter duo Jo Young-min and Ryu Bo-ri, who previously teamed up in the short youth series Everything and Nothing (2019). It is scheduled to air beginning August 31 at 10:00 p.m. KST as a Monday-Tuesday drama, the slot previously occupied by Good Casting.
