First look at Choi Kang-hee, Lee Sang-yeob, U-KISS’s Jun in ‘Good Casting’

SBS has dropped the first teaser for its upcoming action-comedy Good Casting starring Choi Kang-hee.

Good Casting revolves around Choi Kang-hee’s (Queen of Mystery 2) character, who was a prolific National Intelligence Service agent before her mistake led to the death of one of her subordinates and her demotion to the cybersecurity team. One day, she is tasked with going undercover to expose an intellectual property theft case involving one of Korea’s biggest companies.

The 36-second action-packed teaser opens with an explosion, followed by Choi Kang-hee’s character vowing to catch whoever did it. A woman’s voice reads her profile, “Name, Baek Chan-mi. Age, 38 years old. Baek Chan-mi was a National Intelligence Service officer.” This is when the three female leads come into the picture—Choi Kang-hee, Yoo In-young (Hold Me Tight), and Kim Ji-young (May Queen)—and provide a sneak peek into the thrilling action sequences in the drama.

A mysterious Lee Sang-yeob (Love Affairs In The Afternoon) appears, threatening that he doesn’t keep people he can’t trust around him. Lee Jong-hyuk (He Is Psychometric), who plays a security expert, reads the names of suspects—one of whom is played by U-KISS’s Jun (Class of Lies)—and announces that his three agents will go undercover as clips of more action scenes and explosions end the teaser.

Good Casting is helmed by PD Choi Hyeong-hun, who directed the 2015 drama High Society. It is expected to be broadcast as a Monday-Tuesday drama on SBS in April or May, following Dr. Romantic 2 and Nobody Knows.
