First look at Cha Tae-hyun, Lee Sun-bin’s upcoming drama ‘Team Bulldog: Off-duty Investigation’

OCN’s upcoming investigation series Team Bulldog: Off-duty Investigation has dropped its first teaser.

Previously called Further Investigation, the drama will see a detective, played by Cha Tae-hyun (Matrimonial Chaos), and a PD of an investigative TV show, played by Lee Sun-bin (The Great Show), team up to solve unsolvable cases along with an unlikely team.

The 15-second teaser opens with Cha Tae-hyun exclaiming, “Why are you here?” The text on the screen announces that Cha Tae-hyun is coming to OCN. Sketches in dual-tones of yellow and black then introduce the actors and their characters—Cha Tae-hyun, the unrelenting detective; Lee Sun-bin, the passionate PD; Jung Sang-hoon (Love Affairs In The Afternoon), the funeral director; Yoon Kyung-ho (Psychopath Diary), the cocktail bar owner; and finally, Ji Seung-hyun (My Country: The New Age), the criminal profiler. Post the introductions, the text on the screen says, “Never seen anything like this before,” before heralding the arrival of a new kind of team play.

Team Bulldog: Off-duty Investigation is the third project under OCN’s Dramatic Cinema series, following Trap and Strangers From Hell that both aired in 2019. It is directed by Kang Hyo-jin, a first-time drama director who has worked on movies like The Dude In Me (2019) and The Backstreet Noir (2018). Lee Yoo-jin, who wrote the 2015 detective drama The Missing, is in charge of the drama’s script.

The 12-episode series is set to premiere sometime in March.
