EXO’s Chanyeol, Punch team up again for ‘Dr. Romantic 2’ OST “Go Away Go Away”

Exo’s Chanyeol and Punch are teaming up again to sing a song for Dr. Romantic 2‘s original soundtrack (OST), SBS announced Monday.

The two artists previously collaborated with each other in 2016 for “Stay With Me,” the smash hit song in Goblin‘s OST that reached number three on Gaon Digital Chart, the standard record chart in South Korea for singles.

And now, after three years, they are reuniting again for a song titled “Go Away Go Away,” a duet that captures the loneliness and affection of Han Suk-kyu’s character, the protagonist in Dr. Romantic 2.

“Go Away Go Away” will be released on online music sites at 6 p.m. Korean Standard Time (KST) on Monday. It is the third part of Dr. Romantic 2‘s OST, following Baekhyun’s “My Love” and Gummy’s “Your Day.”

Goblin‘s “Stay With Me” was the last OST sang by Chanyeol. The singer branched out into acting recently by playing supporting roles in prime-time dramas Memories Of The Alhambra (2018-2019) and Missing Nine (2017).

On the other hand, Punch released at least nine OSTs from 2017 to 2019, the most of recent of which includes “Like a Heroine in the Movie” for When The Camellia Blooms and “Done For Me” for Hotel del Luna. In 2016, she also sang “Say Yes” with rapper Loco and “Everytime” with singer-songwriter Chen for Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo and Descendants Of The Sun, respectively.

Starring Han Suk-kyu, Lee Sung-kyung, and Ahn Hyo-seop, Dr. Romantic 2 is the sequel to the 2016-2017 medical drama Dr. Romantic (also known as Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim). It airs every Monday and Tuesday on SBS at 10 p.m. KST.
