The King Loves tells the story of ambitious Crown Prince Wang Won (King Chungseon) as he fights for the woman he loves and the throne of Goryeo. He grows up being a best friend to a nobleman named Wang Rin but ends up as Wang Rin’s rival due to the woman they both love, Eun-san. A rivalry full of betrayal ensues as both men vie for Eun-san’s affection and power in the throne.

Episode Summary & Review
Episode 1-2. When Wang Won is 12 years old, he learns through Wang Rin that the world is bigger than he thought it was. Since then they sneak outside the palace to have fun.
