Cast & Characters


Lee Joon-ho as Choi Do-hyun, an ace lawyer who topped the bar examinations. He grew up with a heart ailment and soon after he received surgery, his father was accused of murder. He became a lawyer to clear the name of his father who is now on death row.

Yoo Jae-myung as Ki Chun-ho, a former head detective at a local police station. They call him the “Crocodile” for his unique skills. When a suspect of a murder case he has handled is acquitted, he goes to pursue the truth on his own.

Shin Hyun-bin as Ha Yu-ri, a former journalist who now works for Do-hyun’s law firm. She seeks the truth about the death of her father.

Nam Gi-ae as Jin Yeo-sa, Do-hyun’s office assistant who knows a variety of things including law, medicine, communications, and IT operations. It’s a mystery as to why she has chosen to work in Do-hyun’s firm given her stellar academic and professional background.


Choi Kwang-il as Choi Pil-soo, a former military sergeant and father to Do-hyun. He has been in the death row for ten years. He gave up his appeal to be acquitted.

Lee Ji-hyuk as Lee Hyun-joon, a prosecutor who thinks of Do-hyun as a threat. He graduated from South Korea’s most prestigious university.

Jung Hee-tae as Seo Geun-pyo, the police chief of the violent crime team which Ki Chun-ho used to lead.

Jang Jae-ho as Lee Hyung-chan, a detective who has infinite trust in his former leader, Ki Chun-ho.
