Synopsis

Bride of the Water God tells the story of a doctor who discovers that she is a servant of a Water God who descends from the Water Kingdom to find the stones he needs to become the emperor of the Realms of the God. It centers on the turns of events in her life after she meets the Water God, with whom she will truly fall in love with over time.

Main Cast & Characters

Bride of the Water God Main Cast

Shin Se-kyung as Yoon So-ah, a doctor by profession and servant to the Water God by fate. Her family is destined to serve the Water God for generations. She suffers so much since her childhood years because of the huge amount of debt left by his father.

Nam Joo-hyuk as Ha Baek, the water God living in the modern-day Korea. He sets foot on earth for a specific purpose but he accidentally arrives at the wrong place, a situation that leads him to his search for his servant who will eventually become his bride.

Im Ju-hwan as Hoo-ye, the CEO of a resort and Ha Baek’s rival. He is a young and talented businessman who has earned his wealth in a short amount of time. 

Krystal Jung as Moo Ra, a goddess from the Water Kingdom who is living among humans for centuries. She’s presently living as an actress and has a one-sided love for Ha Baek. She is the guardian god of one of the three stones Ha Baek needs for his coronation to take place.

Gong Myung as Bi-ryum,  Ha Baek’s wind god friend who likes Moo Ra. Having a curious and bright personality, he lives on earth with as much fun as possible. He comes from the Sky Kingdom and holds one of the three stones Ha Baek is looking for in the human world.
