Synopsis

Two childhood friends suddenly die in an accident but get the chance to come back to life through the power of a mysterious bead called “Abyss.” However, they are reborn in different bodies whose appearance reflect the “pureness” of their souls. When they find out that there’s more to the cause of their death than meets the eye, they team up to find the one who killed them.

Park Bo-young as Go Se-yeon, who used to be a goddess-like prosector. Since she was a child, she received princess treatment from everyone because of her looks and intelligence. However, she gets into an accident that causes her death. She holds possession of the Abyss, which gives her another shot at life. However, she is reborn as an average-looking person.

Ahn Hyo-seop as Cha Min, who is an ugly heir to a group of companies that sell cosmetic products. He is a man with a kind heart, but is often stepped on because of his “visually terrorizing” looks. After his death, he finds the Abyss and is reborn into a man with model-like appearance.

Lee Sung-jae as Oh Young-chul, a skilled surgeon who lives a double life.

Kwon Soo-hyun as Seo Ji-wook, Se-yeon’s workmate who eventually becomes in charge of her murder case.
