‘Doctor Prisoner’ releases more still cuts featuring Kwon Na-ra

Doctor Prisoner, KBS2’s upcoming medical mystery series, released more stills featuring Kwon Na-ra‘s character, a psychiatrist named Han So-geum and is one of the most trusted and closest colleague of the male protagonist.

The drama is about genius doctor Nah Yi-jae, played by Namgoong Min, who has lost his job in a well-known hospital and ends up working for a clinic of a correctional facility, where he starts planning his revenge against the hospital that ousted him. It will follow Nah Yi-jae’s transformation from a passionate doctor who sincerely cares for his patients into a seemingly ruthless individual who will do anything—even physically hurting someone—to retaliate against his enemies.

Han So-geum, meanwhile, works in prison as a volunteer. The set of stills below partly shows the complexity of her character, as well as some clues as to what will happen to her in the story. She looks meek in some stills, but also looks cold and stern in other photos.

It will be interesting to see how Han So-geum’s character will develop. Her relationship with Dr. Nah and other characters is something to look forward to as well.

According to members of the drama’s production team, Kwon Na-ra has poured her heart into giving justice to her role. She even took up judo lessons for the shooting. Not only will she have action-packed scenes, but she will also gear up for some emotional scenes.

Dubbed as “a version of ‘Game of Thrones’ inside a prison,” Doctor Prisoner will premiere on March 20, replacing Liver or Die.
