Choi Jin-hyuk, Son Hyun-joo turn serious in first stills from KBS2 drama ‘Justice’

KBS2’s upcoming drama Justice has released its first stills on Monday, featuring lead actors Choi Jin-hyuk and Son Hyun-joo who exude intense charisma with their serious facial expressions.

Justice is a social thriller about a lawyer and a greedy CEO who have teamed up in pursuing power and success but end up becoming each other’s enemy due to a case that involves missing actresses. It also stars Nana as a prosecutor.

In his stills, Choi Jin-hyuk (The Last Empress) is shown with sharp eyes as he looks directly at someone. The actor plays the role of Lee Tae-kyung, a lawyer who boasts the highest case success rate in the industry thanks to his smarts and particularly clever ways of dealing with evidences and arguments. He is mostly in charge of high-profile cases and has done a lot to get his clients acquitted or put them on probation. He has made a deal with an evil man in revenge for his younger brother, which explains why he has chosen power and money and compromised his integrity and moral compass as a lawyer.

Also looking serious in his stills, Son Hyun-joo (Criminal Minds) plays the character of Song Woo-young, the owner of a mid-sized construction company who has amassed power and money in a short time thanks to Lee Tae-kyung. The two have worked together in achieving their goals until Lee starts investigating a case involving the disappearance of several actresses, which sparks off a conflict between him and Song.

Based on a web novel of the same name by Jang Ho, Justice is written by Jung Chan-mi of School 2017. It will premiere on July 17, replacing Angel’s Last Mission: Love on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
