Byun Yo-han, Shin Hye-sun in talks to reunite in new thriller film ‘She Died’

A Day co-stars Byun Yo-han and Shin Hye-sun are being courted to work together again in the upcoming thriller movie She Died (literal title).

The agencies of both sides revealed on the 16th that Byun and Shin received offers for lead roles and are positively reviewing them.

She Died will revolve around the alarming events that follow when a social media influencer posted that “she died” and was discovered lifeless by a man who secretly snuck into her house. It is described as a suspenseful tale that features each of the character’s distinct psychological traits.

Byun Yo-han solidified his domestic popularity through his performances in the films Tinker Ticker (2014), Socialphobia (2015), and Will You Be There? (2016). He is expected to receive increased attention for his upcoming roles in various highly anticipated movie projects, like Voice (2020), The Sun Does Not Move (2021), and Hansan (2021).

Meanwhile, Shin Hye-sun initially impressed the viewers with her incredible acting in the short films One Summer Night (2014) and Return Match (2014). She then went on to play unforgettable roles in works such as A Violent Prosecutor (2016) and the recent box-office hit Innocence (2020), the latter being her first-ever lead role in a commercial film. Earlier this year, Shin was also reportedly cast in an upcoming crime movie titled Tomb Robbery (TBA), alongside actor Lee Je-hoon of A Time to Hunt (2020).

Details of Byun and Shin’s characters remain to be officially unveiled but if they both accept their respective proposals, the two will be reuniting in three years since starring in the 2017 fantasy-thriller movie A Day.

Filming for She Died is slated to crank up this year following the completion of its casting phase.
