‘Birthcare Center’ drops Park Ha-sun’s character stills

tvN’s new Monday and Tuesday drama Birthcare Center has unveiled the stills showing Park Ha-sun’s transformation into her interesting character.

Birthcare Center will revolve around the stories of mothers from all walks of life who are staying at a lavish postpartum care center. It will star Uhm Ji-won (The Cursed) as Oh Hyun-jin, the youngest executive at her company but the oldest mother at the establishment who lacks any childbirth-related knowledge; Park Ha-sun (Love Affairs in the Afternoon) as Jo Eun-jung, dubbed as the “Queen Bee” for her extensive know-how when it comes to childcare; Choi Ri (My First First Love 2) as Lee Roo-da, a CEO whose youthful look draws the attention of the other mothers; and Jang Hye-jin (How to Buy a Friend) as Choi Hye-sook, the director who caters to the needs of the ladies at the center.

The freshly released shots capture the elegance and charming aura of Jo Eun-jung, a woman who has just given birth to her third child via natural delivery and is the other of six-year-old twins. She is also a naturally gifted cook and bests the rest of the mothers in the center’s cooking class. With her abilities and experience, Eun-jung is highly respected by the other women in the facility.

Park Ha-sun has also shared her thoughts about her given role. “When I first saw the script, I found [Jo Eun-jung’s] character impactful. She’s elegant yet haughty and funny. The more you know [about her story], the more unique, strange, and interesting she seems. She can come off as snobbish, but she’s also very affectionate. I was thinking [about whether] I can do well in portraying her, but because she has many traits that are similar to mine, I think I became more drawn to her character,” she said.

Watch Park Ha-sun and the rest of the ladies of Birthcare Center beginning November 2 at 9 p.m. KST. You can also check out the drama’s teaser and posters here.
