Bae Soo-bin confirms appearance in Rowoon-, Park Eun-bin-led historical drama

Actor Bae Soo-bin’s agency Origin Entertainment has confirmed that he will join the cast of upcoming KBS2 drama Affection, also known as Yeonmo.

Affection will be headlined by SF9’s Rowoon (She Would Never Know) and Park Eun-bin (Do You Like Brahms?). Adapted from a manhwa (Korean comics) of the same name, the story revolves around a tragic king who does not exist in historical records. As a result, nobody knows that the king is actually a woman.

Park Eun-bin will play Lee Hwi, the king who is trying to hide her identity, while Rowoon will portray Jung Ji-woon, a teacher to the king. Bae Soo-bin (Graceful Friends) will join Nam Yoon-soo (Beyond Evil), Bae Yoon-kyung (Record of Youth), and Choi Byung-chan (Live On) as supporting cast for the show.

Affection is scheduled to air in the second half of the year.
