Singer-turned-actor Baro will be starring in a new web drama called Two Hearts, as confirmed by a promotional poster of the series that was released on March 26.
Two Hearts is KBS Media’s newest web drama and Baro’s first project following his supporting role in MBC’s Less Than Evil, which ended in January. It is about a young soccer genius named Cha Sun-woo, which is also the real name of the actor, who was known as “Little Messi” when he was playing soccer in his younger years. He always thinks of others before himself but he becomes conflicted when he witnesses the budding romance between his best friend Young-jae (played by Kim Wook) and his first love Yoo Sun-woo (Park Yoo-na). He experiences a series of misfortunes but overcomes them.
In Two Hearts, Baro will be showing off his great soccer skills and impress viewers with his amazing acting coupled with a one-of-a-kind story of a man in his twenties who is searching for happiness and true love.
Baro made his acting debut in 2013 when he appeared in Reply 1994. He was then cast in at least five television series in the next five years, including Manhole: Feels So Good, where he starred alongside other idol-turned-actors Kim Jae-joong and UEE, and Less Than Evil, where he portrayed a foolish police officer.
Two Hearts will premiere on March 30, airing on Tuesdays and Saturdays at 5 p.m. KST via online platforms including KBS World’s YouTube channel and Naver TV.
