Lee Elijah cast in upcoming SBS drama ‘Empress’ Dignity’

Lee Elijah will be starring in an upcoming SBS drama titled Empress’ Dignity, a thriller about a musical actress who finds herself living out a modern-day Cinderella story and marrying the emperor of a constitutional monarchy. While searching for true love and happiness, the heroine ends up bringing down the imperial family.

Lee Elijah will portray the role of Min Yu-ra, an antagonist role who is a trusted confidante of the emperor (to be played by Shin Sung-rok) and a high-ranking palace official, thereby becoming one of the key players in the palace’s inner politics. The actress previously appeared in Ms. Hammurabi, Children of a Lesser God, Fight For My Way, and Uncontrollably Fond.

Empress’ Dignity will premiere in November, following the currently airing Wed-Thu drama Heart Surgeons.
