Synopsis

Hospital Ship centers on the lives of young medical doctors aboard a ship that travels to remote places where they provide medical services to the local inhabitants. The drama will highlight the development in their personal and career lives as they perform their duty as doctors.

Hospital Ship Main Cast

Ha Ji-won as Song Eun-jae, a cold-hearted genius surgeon forced to volunteer as a doctor on board the hospital ship when her family faces public ruin. She slowly transforms into a new person as she meets new coworkers and patients who will bring about change in her attitude.

Kang Min-hyuk as Kwak Hyun, a young public health doctor with a warm heart and a strong sense of concern for other people. He is not as talented as Song Eun-jae but he has a sympathetic heart and is very determined to save his patients’ lives. Unlike Doctor Song, he willingly joins the medical team on the hospital ship.

Lee Seo-won as Kim Jae-gyul, a military doctor who gets assigned to the hospital ship which he dreads the most among all the duty assignments. He is the only doctor with knowledge in oriental medicine. He hates western medicine but at the same time, he is envious of doctors who are practicing it.

Supporting Cast & Characters

Kim In-sik as Cha Joon-young, a dentist serving the military and assigned to the hospital ship just like Kim Jae-gyul.

Minah as Yoo Ah-rim, a cheerful and recent nursing graduate who idolizes doctor Song Eun-jae.
